Husky everywhere!!!

It's been another couple weeks since his last brush, and oh boy we combed out another dog size pile. But he's so silky smooth after! He's learning to be so calm and laid back for these sessions, they have improved. Now trimming his paws on the other hand was not as successful. We'll have to try more exposure theory. As a dog though, the noise and vibration of the blade could definitely be quite foreign and scary. I get it!

Ryder is amazing on walks. There is so much leash slack. Now, true to husky form, when he hears birds in the bushes, or a rabbit running out, he'll definitely give you a good pull.

I still say that, yes he talks back, he'll play growl, and he'll howl and yell at you when you leave him. But for a husky, he's quite reserved. He only barks and howls when we leave for work or our grocery trips. But I've checked in on cameras while other dogs are barking out the window and he's completely unphased and passed out.

We've been working on getting right down to business when we go outside as it's getting cold out and we can't take 5 walks each day. He's been signaling amazing. And when I think maybe it's not, he'll whine softly on top of standing next to the door to really let me know he'd like to go potty. He's truly such a smart pup!
